Rino Cerrone ‘Exnovo’ Remix Contest

Vinyl EP release on Rilis Records RMX Series to be won.

FOEM, the netlabel and talent pool, is hosting an international remix contest with Techno mastermind Rino Cerrone. The winning track will be released on a vinyl EP on Rino’s legendary label, Rilis Records. Entries are welcomed from any talented producer. Rino Cerrone has made a name for himself since the late 90s with a string of high profile releases. His dark-funky style has attracted an international cult following among Dance Music fans. Cerrone has worked with a wide range of artists, including The Advent, Gateano Parisio, Stanny Franssen, Mauro Picotto, Secret Cinema, Marco Carola and Danilo Vigorito. One of his next releases will be out on Ali Dubfire`s (Deep Dish / Yoshitoshi) new founded label Sci+tec.

Cerrone is based in Naples, Italy, and has DJed at some of the world’s best clubs and festivals. Rilis Records, the label Cerrone founded in 1999, has released numerous successful tracks. The winning remix of Cerrone’s 2007 track “Exnovo” will be released as part of the RMX Series, where international artists remix past Rilis releases.

This contest is the latest in a series of successful remix contests organised by FOEM together with international musicians including Luke Slater, Rob Acid, DJ Misjah and Let’s Go Outside. A new FOEM remix contest is announced regularly, with label release prizes for the best remixes. Along with the release on Rilis records, additional prizes for this contest include at least one digital release of the winning track, a remix back from Rino to one winner to be released on vinyl and digital on Loose Records, some label t-shirts and some label vinyl packages.
